Always has always been fun to show! She was the 1st pl Junior Kid at the
National Show in Louisville, KY in 2008. Always finishing her permanent
championship the first show out as a first freshening 2 Yr Old by winning
2x GCH and 1x BOB over her dam SGCH Atiana. She earned her ST 6*M
on her one day test and her AR on her first lactation with 2,800 pounds of
milk with high components. She scored the highest a first freshener can
in LA with all E's. Always was looking hot at the 2010 Nationals and after
much deliberation on putting her 1st or 2nd, she ended up 2nd place 2 Yr
Old with 2nd Udder. She was paired with her dam SGCH Atiana for a 1st
pl Dam and Daughter win, and with her maternal sister SGCH Summer
for a 2nd pl Produce of Dam win in 2010. Always and Atiana repeated the
Daughter win. Unfortunately, she went a bit uneven spring 2011, which
she was certainly penalized at the 2011 Nationals where she was 9th pl 3
Yr Old. I now have her right again-- Always was 1st place udder in her
class at the 2013 ADGA National Show over the National Champion Pika
(2nd pl udder) and herdmate Moonlight, the Reserve National Champion
(3rd pl udder)! Even though Always won 1st place udder in their class, the
2nd place udder in class ended up beating her for Best Udder. ...
Always has become a valuable brood doe for me. Her daughters SGCH
Hoanbu ATL Always Afar 7*M EX90, SG Hoanbu KAI Almost Always VG88
(ff) and dry yearling Hoanbu NL Always Ever After have been doing well for
me. No matter what buck I breed Always to with whatever pedigree he
has, Always gives me progeny that excels. I appreciate the consistency
she transmits to her offspring.
Always is bred to *B Lakeshore AC Kool Water for 2015 kids. Kool Water
is kind of a mix of Afar's sire and Almost's sire. I'm looking forward to what
she gives me this year!
