Glitz is one of the few of my consistently strong "G" dam line that seems to
be giving me lots more bucks than does anymore. Typical of my
later-maturing "G" line, Glitz placed well as a kid and better as a dry
yearling. We are eagerly awaiting what she can do as a milker!
Glitz's dam Gretchen was my favorite Gemi daughter and I really wish I
would never have sold her... Besides her great pedigree, Gretchen had a
shy but loyal personality that I really miss. I am very grateful to have Glitz in
the herd. She too has a special personality that draws me to her. She is
all business in the show ring and the hay manger. She just goes with the
flow... you gotta love that!
Glitz is all business in the way she is put together too. She has stayed
pretty much the same throughout her Junior Doe career-- PRETTY! She
did not going through the "ugly" stages some goats go through as they
grow.
I love what I'm seeing when using Easy on Exodus daughters, so we are
going to try for more pretty kids due in March. Glitz has SUCH a pretty
udder! Nicely placed plumb teats, a square high wide rear udder. What a
keeper!!
