Lindey has had limited exposure in the showring due to being a late
born kid in 2006. Being a more timid shy doe, she was overlooked by
her more bold peers in 2007, only making it to the Ohio State Fair where,
even with her younger age and inexperience in the ring, she still stood in
the top third of the huge sr dry yearling class.
Hoanbu Status Galilea Galexia 3*M, Lindey's dam, is a huge doe that
milks incredibly well. She milked 13.0# milk on a one day test as a
yearling and 15.5 pounds on a one day test as a 2nd freshening 2 year
old with a 3.6% butterfat and 27.0 total points. She handily won the 2007
Ohio Dairy Goat Association's award for Highest One Day Test.
Although Lexi (AV+E) lacks in general appearance earning our lowest
ever LA score of FS83, she has a beautifully capacious E mammary!
Obviously, Reuben has done great things to change the topline and front
end assembly in his daughter. We hope that Lindey will have that same
exceptional mammary system of Lexi's, with improvements in teat size
with Reuben's influence.
Lindey was sold to Susanne Stutzler in Michigan to use in her breeding
program. We wish them both the best!!
