Maranda is a repeat of a successful AI breeding of Hoanbu's Saanen
herd matriarch GCH Hoanbu Andy Marlene Marguerita EX91 EEEE to *B
La Vista TRRB Yeager, a ++*B View Ridge Running Bear son. Maranda's
full sister is Hoanbu Yeager Margi Maridia AI 3*M EX90, (click to go to
Maridia's page). Maridia developed unevenness in her udder after
damage suffered from a defective milking machine but still managed to
earn an LA score of Excellent, so we hoped to get all the strength in
Maranda that Maridia had in a fresher, undamaged package and it all
came true!
Maranda has shown us that same strength and style we were hoping for.
As a Jr doe, she was Grand Champion at her first show ever in May 07,
showed well at the Ohio State Fair in the middle of the season and ended
the show season with another Grand at the North American in Louisville,
KY in Nov. She exhibits exceptional general appearance strengths in her
long, level topline, correct set to legs, as well as depth and width
throughout.
Maranda's mammary is just what he hoped for! She had a record over
2200 pounds as a yearling and was placed 18th in the yearling milker
class at Nationals as well as scoring an 87 as a yearling and an 89 as a
2 yr old. She is one of our newest permanent champions, finishing her
championship at her first show out as a 3 year old by winning GCH and
Best Doe in Show.
I have TWO beautiful Maranda daughters by *B Loughlin's Talut Chill Out,
full brother to Outrageous. Maia and Mali are just as pretty as their
momma! Maia remains in the herd and Mali is in IL with Vicky.
I have Maranda bred to Victor and I cannot wait to see their kids!!
