Mardi Gras is a tall leggy doe and is bound to be a powerhouse Saanen
when she matures. She earned her dry leg in 2007 as an Intermediate
Kid and had a strong showing at the NAILE in November. She is deep,
wide, tall in the front end with well angulated rear legs. She has a loving,
in-your-face personality that ends up getting annoying because she loves
people and attention so much!
Mardi Gras' sire GCH +*B King-Farm Sir Duke C.J. has quite a few
impressive daughters, milking and showing well earning multiple GCH
and BIS wins. We were grateful to have a Duke daughter in our herd as
well.
Mardi Gras possesses a globular-shaped mammary that has a
well-defined medial, and the typical high wide udder of most Duke
daughters. She was sure easy to milk to get that yearling record of over
2000 pounds!
We have a beautiful Mardi Gras daughter "Marie Laveau" by *B Loughlin's
Talut Chill Out -- a full brother to the beautiful GCH Loughlin's Talut
Outrageous. Marie, an Junior Kid, secured a Best Jr Doe in Show win
already in June 09.
