Marie is unmatched in all the Saanens I’ve ever bred. Her topline, back
and the front end, and rump are near ideal, with lots of width and
levelness. She is smooth in the front end, has a long bone pattern
throughout with sharpness and is angularity. Her fore attachment is
extremely extended, long and full, she is very high and widely arched in
rear, with correct teat size, shape and as placement. Marie easily
finished her championship at the first show out as a milker. She is
everything I could ask for in a dairy goat-- tall, long, my deep, wide, milks
like crazy out of one of the best mammary systems in my 3-breed herd,
milks well with high butterfat, and shows like the Champion she is.
I am so thankful to Bill Woodward and Diana McQuitty of McQuitty Farm for
allowing me to use their herdsire in 2008, Loughlin’s Talut Chill Out. Chill
Out is a son of SG++*B Briarwind’s Pharot Talut who has sired many LA
Excellent does with many Excellent mammaries as well. Talut’s most
notable daughter is SGCH des-Ruhigestelle Winseeker (92 EEEE) the
2005 National Jr Champion and 2008 National Sr Champion with Best
Udder. Chill Out’s full sister is a striking doe herself, Loughlin’s Talut
Outrageous.
Marie’s dam, Hoanbu Duke Maridia Mardi Gras 4*M had a beautiful
mammary system typical of Duke daughters. It boasted a high, wide rear
udder, with extension of fore and could MILK. I have a beautiful May
2011 Marie daughter named Voodoo Queen by *B Loughlin's
Paramount. Paramount has two differently-sired maternal sisters that
have earned their championship status for the Loughlin’s herd.
We are very excited that Marie is now bred to our new Saanen herdsire
Noble-Springs MovesLikeJagger, a son of the beautiful Nobel-Springs
NSZ Jazelle *M and +*B Companeros Foxy Supernova (Loughlin's Voice
of a Sly Fox and SGCH Companeros Stand Out Starlet).
