Our guy STATUS has got it all! Status is our Senior Herdsire and we could NOT be more pleased. This guy excels in everything that's asked of him. In 2006, as just a 3 year old buck he managed to earn his permanent championship by going undefeated, appraise Excellent for the second straight year, earn his + for daughters' production (the oldest daughter being just 2 years old), had several daughters place in the top 10 at the ADGA National Show, AND was the sire to the highest seller at the Ohio Dairy Goat Association's Buckeye Sale at $1,550.00! In 2007, he again appraised excellent-- this time a 91all E's! This buck comes complete with an enviable show record to boot. With daughters on DHI test, Status has also earned his Advanced Registry for daughters milk and fat production as well. And it's no wonder-- take a look at his pedigree!! Some of the best all-time Nubian bucks are right there. Both Status' sire and grandsire are Superior Genetics/ Elite Sires and have daughters who have won classes at National Shows. If you know anything about Nubians, you'll recognize their names: At Your Service, Full Service, Liaison, Excess... Status' sire is SG++*B Kastdemur's At Your Service 6-0 EX90. "Ace has made a name for himself through the powerful offspring he has produced" says Megan Tredway, his owner. Of the many, many nice offspring of his, Ace sired the 2003 ADGA National Show RGCH and Best Udder Nubian CH Lakeshore-Farms Ace of Hearts 2-04 EX91 as well as 2nd place Junior Get of Sire and 2nd place Senior Get of Sire at the 2005 Nationals. He has sired at least 10 permanent champions- 5 daughters and 5 sons with many others with championship legs. Status' dam is the late GCH Lakeshore-Farms Skipa Star 3*M 4-01 VG89. Skipa Star, a third generation GCH, was part of the '03 and '04 ADGA Nationals 1st place Dam and Daughter. Unfortunately, Star never got to prove her true value as she died at an early age. Status's full sister is Lakeshore-Farms Starburst who was the 11th place milking yearling at the 2005 National Show. Photos of Skipa Star, Starburst and Ace courtesy of Megan Tredway-Carter of Lakeshore Farms. Status is proving to us that he, too, is a great Nubian sire as he has some outstanding offspring already. Status sired 4 does in the top 10 at the 2006 ADGA National Show. He sired the 1st and 3rd place 2 year olds, Reserve Grand Champion, and Best Udder Nubian at the 2006 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) in Louisville, KY. Status' kids have been so consistent, being extremely tall, deep and wide throughout, possessing strong and correct feet, and legs with width in the rear. Status mammaries show improvement in globular shape, security in attachments, extension to the fore, height and width to rear and teat size and shape. Status also sired the highest seller at the 2006 Ohio DGA's Buckeye Sale; *B Hoanbu Status Gawain who sold for $1,550.00. Status also had 1st pl Sr Get of Sire 07 Ohio St Fair, D4 Nubian Specialty, NAILE. Status has sired 4 Superior Genetics does, 5 permanent champion daughters, and even a few appraised excellent daughters to date: SG Gretchen VG88, SG Grace, SGCH Bella EX90, SG Avril, GCH Pearl VG89, GCH Atiana, GCH Joy EX90, GCH Sicily VG89. Status comes from the highly competitive west coast herd Lakeshore Farms, the ADGA National Show Premier Nubian Breeder and Exhibitor in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, AND 2007! I can't thank the Tredway's at Lakeshore Farms enough for allowing me to purchase this buck. I have a limited amount of Status semen at the farm while the majority of his semen is being marketed through BioGenics.

Another stunning pedigree!! We are absolutely THRILLED to have this handsome buck in our barn! THANK YOU to my good friend Megan *again* for the opportunity to own another Lakeshore buck of this caliber. Check out the appraisal scores top and bottom of this pedigree. Can it get any better than this?! Exodus is linebred on the late great ++*B Kastdemur's Crown Excess 5-04 EX90 EVE a buck who has a list of great offspring so long I couldn't even begin to write them here. He comes from one of the most notorious Nubian bucks of all time ++*B Brown Sugar's Crown Ambassador. Exodus' dam, GCH Lakeshore-Farms Summer Storm 5*M EX92 EEEE, as you might know was 2004 ADGA Junior Champion and went on to win her class again as a 2 year old with 1st place udder. It's devastating that Summer's udder was ruined due to mastitis, as this doe may very well be the best doe to come out of the Lakeshore herd. That's saying a lot as Tredway's have won Premier Breeder and Exhibitor at the past 5 consecutive years. Exodus' grandsire is +*B Lakeshore-Farms Doctor Luke, a buck who is getting recognition for the outstanding mammaries and gorgeous bodies he puts on his offspring like: SGCH Wingwood Farm DL Allegretto 2*M EX92 EEEE, 3rd pl 2 Year Old 2005; GCH Lakeshore-Farm Tanqueray 3*M EX91 VVEE, the 1st pl Int Kid in 2004, 1st pl Milking Yearling in 2005 and 2nd pl 2 Year Old at the 2006 ADGA Nationals; Kastdemur's Breeze EX92 EEEE, the 12th pl 3 Year Old 2006; 1st place Sr Get of Sire 2005 Nationals; and his son GCH +*B Lakeshore-Farm Chevron Tang EX91 EEE. (photos of Summer courtesy of Megan Tredway-Carter of Lakeshore Farms). Exodus is a sharp and angular buck with a fantastically smooth front end. He has a near ideal set and width to his rear legs and looks better every day. Exodus' littermate brother *B Lakeshore EX Summer Heat is working for the Tredway's while his litter sister Lakeshore EX Summer Sensation was undefeated in her class in 2006 with a record of 6 x 1st, and was 8th pl Jr Kid at the 2006 Nationals. and 7th place Senior Yrg at the 2007 Nationals. Though we settled several does to Exodus winter of 06, he only gave us 2 doe kids. One went to live in Georgia, while the other, Hoanbu EXOD Almost Summer is my favorite kid of the whole 07 kid crop! Exodus was collected via BioGenics at our stop in Nov 2007. Very limited semen available until his next collection fall 2008.

Easy's Dam: GCH Kastdemur's Breeze EX92 EEEE
Another hand-picked addition to our Nubian herdsire lineup and what a pedigree!! Can I love this guy any more?! Plenty of E's showing up here for even the most discriminating taste! THANK YOU ever so much to Karen and Krista Senn for allowing us to add this beautiful buck to our barn. He is a knock-out! He finished his championship the first show he ever went to by going 3x 1st, 3x Grand and even 1x Best of Breed as a yearling! He is one to watch as not only is HE handsome, his first kids are quite impressive! His March daughter Peaceful EZ Feelin won Jr Champion at her first show, first ring and quickly earned her dry leg. Long, tall, level, dairy, sharp, smooth.... I'm loving what I'm seeing! Doubled up on National Champions top and bottom, Easy was an easy choice. On the dam's side, you've got GCH Kastdemur's Breeze 4*M who appraised all E's as a 3 year old who is daughter of a +*B Laskeshore-Farms Dr. Luke (see Exodus above for Dr. Luke's awesome offspring) and a daughter of GCH Kastdemur's Aubree who was the 2002 Res National Champion and 2001 Grand Champion . On the sire's side, you've got one of Karen's most promising young bucks Kastdemur's Full Disclosure (who appraised 91 all E's as a TWO year old) who's a son of SGCH ++*B Kastdemur's LH Full Service EX91 EEE along with GCH Lassenwood Miller Kalila 1*M EX90 who was the National Champion in 2005. What's not to like?!? (Photos of Breeze courtesy of Karen Senn of Kastdemur's) Easy's littermate sister Sea Breeze was the 2007 Sonoma County Fair 5th Pl. Junior Kid and the 2007 CA State Fair 8th Pl. Junior Kid. Easy is a huge buck. He has tremendous length of body, spring, angle and length of rib, levelness over the top, strength to feet and legs, a front end to die for-- sharpness and blending at the withers, width and depth of chest, and gorgeous breed character, not to mention that pretty white blaze. I think you get the idea that he's as handsome in real life as he is in pictures. Besides all the strengths Easy already shows in general appearance, dairy character and body capacity, we hope to get better teat placement, fullness and extension to the fores and of course that attachment with height and width to rear udders. Easy was collected via BioGenics at our stop in Nov 2007. Semen is available.

*B Kastdemur's Au Revoir young herdsire
Au Revoir's Dam: Kastdemur's Ava 1-03 VG88 VVVE

Another outstanding Nubian pedigree to add to our sire lineup! Karen told me Au Revoir's dam Ava was one of the nicest yearling does she's freshened for several years, so I jumped at the chance to bring this buck to Ohio! I'm glad I did because Au Revoir's dam did not disappoint. Ava was the first place yearling milker at the 2007 California State Fair, appraised 88 with an E mammary as a first freshener, and made her milk star on test as a yearling. Ava should be one to be reckoned with for the next few years ahead and as well she should. Ava's dam GCH Kastdemur's Aubree 3*M EX92 EEEE was National Champion & Best Udder in 2001 and Reserve National Champion & Best Udder in 2002, her grandmother GCH Kastdemur's Crown Finale 2*M 7-04 EX91 EEVE was National Champion & Best Udder in 1999, her 3/4 sister was 1st place yearling in 2003 then 1st pl. 2 yr. Old in 2004 at the Nationals. Ava's full sister GCH Kastdemur's Audacity 5-01 EX91 EVEE was the 2003 ADGA National Junior Champion as well as being the 8th place 2 yr old in 2004, 4th pl 3yr old in 05 and the 7th place 4 yr old in 06. Karen brought back Ava's full brother CH *B Kastdemur's Audacious EX90 EEE into her herd and is now using him heavily. Au Revoir ("Rev") is a linebred on Full Service and will tie in well to our herd via that same blood brought in by our Sr Herdsire Status. Au Revoir's sire "Arnold" AKA *B Kastdemur's Hasta La Vista is a young buck that Karen has high expectations for being an AI son of ++*B Brown Sugar's Crown Ambassador, who one of the best bucks for productivity and dairiness around. Rev is bringing that same productive dairiness, length and flatness of bone, openness of rib, length and flatness of rump, and beautiful breed character into our herd. Rev himself shows us that length and stretch that you want to see. He is extremely tall and angular, flat boned, long boned and has a long beautiful neck. He shares his mother's lovely Roman nose and long bell shaped ears. He's also got those classic puppy-dog Full Service eyes! He will be a later maturing buck as he has such a tall frame to fill. But that's ok as we feel he'll be well worth the wait! (Photos of Ava courtesy of Karen Senn of Kastdemur's) Au Revoir will be collected via BioGenics at our stop in Nov 2008. Check back then for semen availability.
Fast Lane Purebred N1417224 DOB: March 2007 LA: YSA 0-05 V (VVV)
Our AI success to one of my favorite does, Fast Lane ties together Hoanbu's 'newer' Lakeshore blood back to Hoanbu's and Lakeshore's 'older' WIngwood blood. Fast Lane is a son of SGCH ++*B Wingwood Farm Blazin Tamerlane, a prepotent buck who has at least 4 champion sons and daughters to his name. The well known buck ++*B Crown Point Mama's Boy is a Tamerlane son who sired +B Dayspring MB Jericho, a buck Lakeshore Farms has made known with superior get like the 2nd place Sr Get of Sire at the 1999 National Show. Mama's Boy also sired SGCH Dayspring Rejoicing Julie 1*M, the dam to GCH Lakeshore Julie Jaguar 3*M EX92 EEEE, the 2007 ADGA National Reserve Champion and Reserve Best Udder. Another handsome Tamerlane son named CH *B Wingwood Farm Blazin Tristar is getting some much deserved attention just recently on the West coast. A great line of genetics to work with in a brand new package. We are liking what we are seeing in the first kids by Fast Lane. (Photo of Tamerlane courtesy of Karen Denton-Smith of Wingwood Farm.) Fast Lane is a very dairy buck, being angular, sharp and open, but is quite masculine at the same time. He has very correct feet and legs, is uphill to the withers and has beautiful breed character. Fast Lane's typey littermate sister Hoanbu Blazin Hot Gillette remains in the herd. We're excited to see her as one of our yearling milkers for 2008. Fast Lane was collected via BioGenics at our stop in Nov 2007. Semen is available.
