Another really pretty pair of Status daughters, Gevena and Gena are just so nice. Always the bridesmaid, she never earned her dry leg, but Gevena placed well all year everywhere we went, including placing 2nd in the Junior Kid class at the ADGA Nationals in Indianapolis. Gena, being more shy in the show ring at the time didn't make the cut. Gena made up for it a couple weeks later by going Grand Champion at the Wood Co Fair under Annette Maze who fell in love with her dairy character-- long flat bone, thin pliable skin and angularity. Gevena, too, is dairy, smooth, sharp and just has this "look at me!" presence in the ring. They also had impressive LA young stock scores. It's interesting to note that Gena and Gevena are genetically the same as Avril and Atiana: Geminia and Angel were twins, both were bred to Silver, resulting in Genovesse and Anhelena who were both bred to Status, resulting in these 4 outstanding doe kids. Gena is bred to our junior herdsire Lakeshore EX Summer Exodus, a really beautiful SG ++*B Kastdemur's Crown Excess linebred buck. Since flashy Gevena hasn't gotten her dry leg yet, we're excited to keep her dry to see what she can do as a dry yearling in 2007. Gena now resides in TN with Christopher Threet, culminating his desire to own this doe since she was a kid. Thanks, Chris!

Go-Go is a favorite at the shows, with her winning personality back at the pens and her style and grace in the show ring. Go-Go earned her dry leg as just a junior kid in 06 and was even 4th place Junior Kid at the ADGA Nationals in Indy. She too shows that standard strong general appearance of the Stripes daughters. She's bred to our junior herdsire Lakeshore EX Summer Exodus for an April freshening. Update: Go-Go kidded with twin bucks and typical of the Stripes' daughters, she is already milking quite well. Go-Go now resides with Jess Aller in northern Ohio. Thanks, Jess!
Avril and Atiana are soo similar-- I have to look at their name tags to tell the difference half the time. I've finally settled the mystery by looking for Avril's tan facial stripes and the hazy spot on Atiana's side. That's about all that's different between them! Neither had any trouble in earning their dry legs as last of March Intermediate Kids, and both also did outstanding at the Indy Nationals-- 2nd for Avril and 10th for Atiana. Just really correct, well-balanced kids. The Appraiser thought so too by giving them both Extremely Corrects overall. We're excited to have Avril bred to *B Kastdemur's Walk the Line, one of SG ++*B Kastdemur's LH Full Service's last kids before he died. Atiana was bred to our junior herdsire, Lakeshore EX Summer Exodus. Avril's doe kid Bikini Line and Atiana's daughter Almost Summer will stick around to be a part of our tough kid show string. Atiana has been shown 8x in official open class shows this yr (as of 6/17) as a yearling milker going first each time and Reserve Grand once! She's stealing the show from Avril who hasn't made it out of the barn just yet. Their full little sister a year younger, Arya is our Senior kid for this year. She'll be another one who's fun to show!

Ginger is a very stylish linebred daughter who was born late and just didn't get shown in 06, therefore doesn't have a photo. a lot of leg under her, but a little immature yet-- understandable for a late May kid. I kept too many yearlings and need to make room for these 07 kids. Ginger is being offered for sale. Please inquire;;;

A stacked pedigree, this! Lindey and Lainey are a pair of late May kids who never got out of the barn until Nov at NAILE, where they did respectable, but were fighting us all the way. (Yes, that was my goat laying in the green sawdust...) Those later kids always seem to be socialized less than the early kids. Since the only show they went to was in November, we didn't bother getting photos of them in their warm winter fuzzies. They are going to be big tall girls, just like Mom, Lexi. Very typey and correct. They'll stay dry for 2007 and we'll have another couple exciting dry yearlings to play with. I've got too many yearlings!! Lainey is being offered for sale at this time. Please inquire.
