Trinket is following in the hoofsteps of her big sister GCH Pearl. They
are full sisters by our late senior herdsire SGCH +*B Lakeshore-Farms
Star Status EX91 EEE, the 2010 National Show Nubian Premier Sire.
Trinket is like a carbon copy of her sister Pearl (except Trinket is
spotted!) She is a balanced doe being smooth in the front end,
extremely level over the top, upstanding, wedgy, incredibly deep with lots
of spring of rib and increasing depth into rear barrel, and has a square
strong set to feet/legs. Typical for a Status daughter, she has an
outstanding mammary, being very well attached, lateral, fore and rear.
She has a high and wide rear udder and plumb teats. Trinket went a bit
uneven in 2009 but still managed to earn a leg for her permanent
championship. We've aggressively dry treated her with high hopes for
2010. She came back totally even and at her first show out in 2010,
Trinket was placed 5th in the 4 yr old class at the 2010 National Show!
Trinket's full sister GCH Pearl has done well at even the biggest shows
we attend. In 2008, she was the Kentucky and Tennessee Grand
Champion Nubian and was 6x BOB and 4x BDIS in 2009. Trinket is quite
similar in type to Pearl. Trinket is proving to be an outstanding brood
doe too, as we have retained 3 of her daughters in the herd including
Hoanbu EXOD Summer Secret and 2 of her daughters by CH * B
Kastdemur's Free and Easy from 2009 These beauties are genetic full
sisters to the 4th place intermediate kid Peaceful EZ Feelin at the 2008
National Show. Easy To Believe and Easy To Imagine (18th and 6th pl
Sr Yrg 2010 Natls respectively) will be on my Junior show string as a dry
yearling.
We have Trinket settled to Atlantis for May kids. We are excited to see
how this Wingwood buck will cross with this doe since she already has
a good dose of Wingwood in her already with her grandsire Broad
Stripes being a +*B Wingwood Farm Blue Tamoon son.
