| Vegas is a very stylish doe, being long, level, strong on feet and legs with plenty of smoothness and blending in the front end-- she shows that standard strong general appearance of the Status daughters. We're seeing that same strong mammary typical of Status daughters as well. Vegas easily earned her dry leg as a kid, winning Best In Show once and was shown by my then-7-year-old son for a Grand Champion win at the District 4 Nubian Specialty. An easy mover and easy on the eyes, she was the obvious pick. Vegas' mother Gypsy easily earned her Advanced Registry and ST as a first freshener with her milk production and high components. Gypsy is a littermate sister to our SGCH Misty EX90 who was our hot show doe in 2006 and 2007. It's interesting to note that Misty's daughters SGCH Hoanbu Status Misty Moonlight 2*M (7th Sr Yg 08 Nationals), and Misty Meadow (15th Jr Kid 08 NS) and Vegas are full genetic sisters. This is a cross that works. Vegas has another correct Status mammary. She has a globular shaped mammary with correct medial. Everything is where it should be but we need more of her. Vegas freshened as a yearling and has been working hard in the milk parlor to keep herself a little too slim and trim so we are giving her some additional dry time for her to fill out and mature. She is not letting us down. She is looking like most Status daughters who grow up and blossom at age 3... We are seeing continued growth, development and increased body capacity as she matures. Vegas settled to Status' sire Ace for at AI kids to concentrate on that outstanding line that has not yet let me down. I may even keep a buck of my own outta this cross...
