| GCH Hoanbu Status Gypsy Vegas 2*M EX90 |
| Vegas is a very stylish doe, being long, level, strong on feet and legs with plenty of smoothness and blending in the front end-- she shows that standard strong general appearance of the Status daughters and a bit more dairy character than some as she is sharper and more angular with a flatter bone. Vegas has another correct Status mammary with globular shape and correct medial. Vegas freshened as a yearling and has been working hard in the milk parlor ever since. We are seeing continued growth, development and increased body capacity as she matures and a mammary system that is staying put. Vegas easily earned her dry leg as a kid, winning Best In Show once and was shown by my then-7-year-old son for a Grand Champion win at the District 4 Nubian Specialty. An easy mover and easy on the eyes, she was the obvious pick. She finished her championship readily in 2010. Vegas' mother Gypsy easily earned her Advanced Registry and ST as a first freshener with her milk production and high components. Gypsy is a littermate sister to our SGCH Misty EX90 who was our hot show doe in 2006 and 2007. It's interesting to note that Misty's daughters SGCH Hoanbu Status Misty Moonlight 2*M (1st pl 3 yr old 2010 Nationals, 4th pl 4 yr old 2011), Meadow (6th pl 2 Yr Old 2010 NS) and Starlight (3rd pl Int Kid 2011 Nationals) and Vegas are full genetic sisters. This is a cross that works. In 2010, Vegas had triplet AI daughters by Status' sire At Your Service. We concentrated on that outstanding line and it has not yet let me down. Venice has already earned her dry leg, Vienna was the "bridesmaid" 3x RGCH, and Verona was our 2010 ADGA Colorama Sale consignment that sold for $1,800.00 at the National Show in Louisville, KY. We love our homebred herdsire *B Hoanbu DL Relentless sooo much that we wanted a full genetic repeat. We are thrilled to have Vegas' 2011 AI daughter Hoanbu DL Luck Be A Lady in the herd!
